FBR Federal Board of Revenue Jobs 2024
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Islamabad has announced multiple job vacancies as of July 1, 2024. Candidates with qualifications ranging from Matriculation to Bachelor’s and Intermediate degrees are encouraged to apply. Interested individuals should submit their applications for these government positions within FBR before the closing date, tentatively scheduled for July 20, 2024.
These vacancies were published in the Jang, Dawn, Daily Ausaf, and Daily Aaj Newspapers.

GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS:
How to apply:
- Eligible candidates are advised to apply online through National Jobs Portal at their https://njp.gov.pk Candidates applying for more than one post should apply online for each post separately. No manual or hard copy of application will be accepted by any office.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Vacancies in BS-01 to BS-05 shall ordinarily be filled on a local basis in terms of Rule 16 of Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973, whereas vacancies for BS-06 to BS-15 shall be filled by appointment of persons domiciled in their respective province/region/district of each office strictly under Rule 15 of the aforesaid rules and instructions issued by the Establishment Division from time to time.
- Candidates will be required to bring original documents (Educational, Domicile and Experience Certificate etc.) along with one set of attested copies of all documents at the time of interview.
- Screening / skill tests (where required) will be conducted as per Recruitment Policy of the Federal Government.
- Physical Standard (Height and Chest measurement along with other physical tests that the recruitment committee deems necessary i.e., running, pushups, chin-ups etc.) for the post of Sepoy will be conducted for pre-screening of the candidates. Female candidates shall also have to undergo physical standard (i.e., Height and others aforementioned tests). In the running test, male candidates will have to cover one Kilometer distance in 7 minutes while female candidates will have to cover one Kilometer distance in 10 minutes.
- 10% quota for women, 5% quota for minorities (non-Muslims), and 2% quota for disabled persons shall also be strictly observed as per Government policy/instructions. Disabled persons will have to submit a Disability Certificate from Medical Assessment Board under the Ministry of Human Rights (Council on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities), Islamabad at the time of interview.
- The Customs field formations reserve the right not to fill any vacancy or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies if the circumstances so warranted at the time of final selection.
- The candidates working in Public Sector Departments/Organizations shall have to submit Departmental Permission Certificates from the respective department/employers at the time of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to participate in the interview.
- Minimum and Maximum age shall be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Information provided in the online Application Form will be verified. In case of any false or forged information, Customs field formations/FBR reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage (even after employment, if so revealed later) and to initiate legal action against the applicant.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview. All the candidates will be allowed provisionally to appear in the test/interview, subject to detailed scrutiny of their eligibility as per relevant criteria.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the Test/ Interview.
- In addition to 05 years general upper age limit relaxation by the Government, further upper age relaxation shall be restricted up to the following categories of candidates, as per relevant Rules/Policy of the Federal Government:
